Welcome to Fenxing Fencing Club, Beijing

Established in 1999, Fenxing is Beijing's oldest privately-run fencing salle in continuous operation. We offer private saber and epee fencing classes to beginners and those of developmental level and work in collaboration with several of the city's major international schools to develop co-curricular programs and after-school activities. Our current services offerings include:

Beginners' saber fencing classes for children, adolescent and young adults, age 8 and above;

Recreational saber & epee fencing classes for adults of beginning and developmental levels of all age groups;

Bouting sessions for club members and visitors;

Co-Curricular After-School Beginners' Fencing Programs: minimum five students, age 8 and above, per class, eight sessions per school semester; and

Corporate, School and Community Events.

Master Ning WU, founder and chief coach of the Club, has over twelve years of experience in teaching fencing of all three weapons to a highly international clientele. An accomplished fencer, Master Wu fences competitively in FIE's annual World Veteran Fencing Championship, crossing swords with several former Olympians and world champions. His unique strengths reside in introducing the noble sport to beginners, igniting their passions, and along the way helping them improve techniques, build characters, and lay a solid foundation for further development on the piste and in life's other worthy enterprises. Many current and former students of his have achieved outstanding performance in national, regional and international cadet, junior and senior tournaments.
